Many gamers have experienced issues since the introduction of the system through an impromptu update from Capcom. As a result of this update, it has been noted that the game Resident Evil Revelations received a significant number of review bombs from gamers on the Steam platform.
At the time of writing this article (January 13), there are a total of 429 new reviews on Steam where users marked the game as “Not Recommended.” This occurred due to Capcom’s recent update, which introduced a DRM system to a game that was released almost 11 years ago.
Various criticisms have arisen from gamers on Steam, with many of their comments related to protesting against the implementation of the DRM system in the game. This has led to the Recent Reviews status on Steam being changed to “Mostly Negative.”

Here are some negative reviews from gamers on Steam regarding RE Revelations:
“Adding DRM to an 11-year-old game. FU Capcom! This is a downgrade in recent years. First, it’s Jill’s gun, now this malware called ENIGMA.”
“Capcom added DRM that can prevent Mods, which can cause performance issues for a 10-year-old game and their other games. A stomach-churning behavior, and no one wants to tolerate gifts like this.”
“Looking at the old catalog and seeing DRM added makes this a less intelligent decision from Capcom. I shouldn’t have to roll back to play their games.”
“Enigma Protector, alias Anti Mods.”
